The Client: International Travel/Tour Company

The Goal: Implement targeted marketing plans for their two diverse audiences: their partner travel agents and the travelers who go on tour.

The Process: Travel agents who sell the trips have a very different relationship than the individuals who take the trips, so the way our client interacts with each group should reflect those differences. Travel agents need to be informed about new trips while feeling their contribution of booking travelers is valued.  Travelers will benefit most from feeling confident that their tour will proceed effortlessly because their guides are experienced and knowledgeable.

The Solution: Since relationship building is at the heart of both goals, these efforts are ongoing and build upon each other. We've introduced Globus to multi-sensory communication, producing dramatic results. Travel agents have enjoyed receiving custom video brochures, cleverly designed leather travel/desk clocks, luxurious leather pouches printed with full color images of new destinations, and quality desk journals among other gifts. Travelers benefit from on-trip messaging such as heavy-duty luggage tags to identify bags belonging to travelers on tour (vs other hotel guests) and custom ranger vests that identify your Tour Guides in national parks, etc.
