Our collective experience in brand management, graphic design, and corporate relationship-building covers a wide range of skills and ensures our clients get a true strategic partnership that keeps them coming back for more. From supporting the fundraising efforts of an international non-profit organization to supplying jaw-dropping sales incentive gifts for Fortune 500 companies, we really do love exploring memorable, inventive ways to help our clients achieve their marketing goals. And it’s our ambition to earn that business again and again with great ideas for each project. Our formula works well – as our top clients have worked with us for an average of 10+ years.
Dogs at Work, originally called Blue Dog Brand Works, was founded in 2004. And how did we derive our company name, you ask? Our belief that loyalty, tenacity, agility and ingenuity – outstanding characteristics present in dogs – are the same qualities that make Dogs at Work stand out with our clients. And yes – we do bring our dogs to work.
We put some teeth into our dog-centric ethic by supporting animal welfare groups from California to Maine. Not only do we support animal rescue organizations with donations, we support them by adopting from them and we volunteer at shelters too. Our office-dog-regulars enjoy toys and treats and provide us with the calming support so helpful in a fast moving, time sensitive business. We can’t imagine a workday any other way. And we also believe in dogs-at-play… maybe weekends spent hiking with our dogs, or running a Canicross race. We even have a social media star… follow @dognamedstella on Instagram!

Andy’s experience in marketing as a VP/GM at Swiss Army Brands/Victorinox, and his work on some of the largest and most successful incentive and brand campaigns in the promotional industry illustrates what he lives and breathes. And you guessed it – he also likes dogs wilding in his home and his office 24/7.
Hanna’s mayhem: Graphic design, accounting, kids, dogs, popcorn. Not necessarily in that order, popcorn comes first.
Mel is a stickler for details, loves the creativity of visual arts, and will use her powers to match your ambitious goals to the perfect marketing product. Oh yeah, and to say she has a sweet tooth would be a serious understatement. Confectionary bribes will gladly be accepted.
Ashley is just plain creative, except when it comes to bios. Idea person, problem solver, writer, artist, and marketing enthusiast, promotional products are the type of brain food that keeps her happy. Unless you have sushi. She always wants sushi.
Ashley also contributes to the team’s overall love of animals by having a collection of creatures at any given time. Currently this culminates in a cat, a horse, and Charlie the office parrot.
To say Steve is an extrovert is stating the obvious. From sports announcing to emceeing local events to DJing and being a stand up comic, this guy knows how to have fun! However, Steve is as serious as they get when it comes to customer care. His creativity is matched only by his dedication to community. Steve is just as much of an animal lover as the rest of the team. He and his family have two huge Maine Coon cats that are almost as big as the office dogs!
