The Goal

The United States market of this high end river cruise line needed to find a way to differentiate themselves from the competition by offering a fun line of premiums to offer their travel agents and customers to increase brand recognition.

The Process

While curating appropriate giveaways for their audience, there were a few main elements we needed to consider: items of a high perceived value that were reasonably priced to allow ordering in high volume to their national sales team, and highly packable items so that these reps could easily travel with their collateral when attending conferences and travel events the world over.  Our team focused on how to highlight the luxury, extra care, and premier service travelers receive on these trips.

The Solution

Riverside has acquired quite the arsenal of giveaways in support of their sales efforts. This has culminated into a core group of items that they use regularly such as sleep masks, coin purses, packable totes, anchor-motif phone wallets, seahorse-shaped keychains, and stylus pens. In addition, they order supplementary items for specific events such as bath salts, lip gloss, packing cubes, compact mirrors, travel ring lights, and fuzzy socks.

The Result

Our relationship with Riverside has solidified into a wonderful partnership and their constant reorders bode well for the effectiveness of their core promotional merchandise. They continually engage us for new ideas for their annual events and we appreciate how much they believe in this medium to achieve their marketing goals.
