Community Event Support
SPECIAL OLYMPICS OF MAINE
The Process
Special Olympics of Maine engaged our services to help them with their overall event support for both their Summer and Winter games, as well as their fundraising events. As a nonprofit, they need to be mindful of budget, but they also want items that are going to be a conscientious blend of fun, useful, and mindful of their health initiatives.

The Solution
We have been successful in finding vendors with very fair pricing to get the Special Olympics the most bang for their buck so that they can not only provide a wide range of giveaways, but can capitalize on dynamic backdrops, table covers, and feather flags for their various events and initiatives.
Much of what we have provided accommodates not only the audience that they are geared toward, but the time of year as well. While we provide event staples like drawstring bags, lanyards, silicone wristbands, and water bottles, we also provide summer specific items such as cooling towels and sunscreen lotion, and winter specific items like lip balm, hand sanitizer, and sunsticks (which apply better on the face for winter sun exposure).
Special Olympics also conducts various health and wellness screenings and has us find thematic items for these initiatives. This has included tooth-shaped hot/cold packs, ear-shaped stress relievers, deodorizer balls, pedometers, resistance band sets, and push-pop sensory stress balls.
It doesn’t end there: we have also supplied backpacks and pocket folders for staff support, wireless earbuds as a staff thank you gift, and window clings for community outreach.
The Result
We are so proud that our relationship with the Special Olympics of Maine has grown exponentially over the past couple of years. We are happy to help a local nonprofit achieve so many of their goals and will continue to work with them in any way we can to further their mission.
